So here’s my Five Minute Friday!  If you like this, please head over to  She is amazing and hosts this linkin.  You can learn so much about yourself by doing this!  Oh!  I forgot to tell you the topic is Delight!!!

There is so much to delight in!  Every day I wake up and am so happy that I get to be with my wonderful children and my fantastic husband!  I have such delight in their love.

The simple things bring so much joy and wonder into your life if you just look for it.

This morning a friend brought over her baby niece.  That sweet little girl laughed so hard when her cousin pretended to smell her socks and keept saying how stinkie they were.  She laughed so hard that she nearly fel over several times.  That’s the kind of delight I love!  The kind where you just can’t help but smile, you just can’t help but feel your heart growing so big in your chest that it feels tight!

Children bring so much joy to the world around them!!!

  1. Oh, I love when kids belly laugh like they’re going to explode. Awesome moments of delight indeed. Thanks for sharing. Children are a blessing in so many ways because they are truly awe inspired by the simplest of things and find delight in everything from sock jokes to cardboard boxes. To see like children we would surely be delight-full more often. 🙂

  2. Love this take on Delight! Was absolutely right there with cousin smelling stinkie socks and baby’s giggles. Delightful!
Thank you for sharing that story.

  3. I think you did a fabulous job on this. You wrote from your heart and that is the whole point! I love “belly” laughs from babies! That is something that I believe can bring delight to anyone! Thanks so much for stopping by my “home” on the web and your sweet comments. Be inspired and come back again next week. I really look forward to Five Minute Friday’s! My kids know they have to leave me alone for 5 simple minutes. It is bliss!! Have a great weekend! Tirzah
