The Hunger Games Movie Review

Okay guys, here it is.  I liked the movie…we all did.  My husband and I read the books with our teens and today was the day we took the to see the movie.

I liked it.  It wasn’t perfect and I think they could have done it better but, all-in-all, it was good.  Cato’s speech at the end that was not in the book was great!

The movie lacked the people connection that the books have.  It also lacked the politics and the horror of the books.  It lacked the realities of war that the book gave us.

That’s all I’m going to say for now though, just in case you haven’t read the books or seen the movie yet.  If you haven’t read the books, DO!  Especially if you saw the movie.  It will add so much more for you.

  1. Hehe! I talked to a bunch of people who have seen the move at school today! Most people liked it, though a lot of people agreed with me that when they took out the body removal scenes, they took a lot out of the movie. I also liked the last scene with Seneca Crane that they added in.
