I’m sitting in the mall play place and I’m breathing deeply the air of childhood.  It won’t be long before my little ones are too old for this and I won’t be a part of it anymore.  For now, I watch.  I breathe.  I soak in the childhood that flows like a loud melody around me.

Little girls in giant hair bows half hanging from their wildly messy heads of hair and glittery tutus bouncing along with their little bodies as they run and jump and chase.

Little boys in capes and wild smiles yelling to just made friends chasing one another wildly.  Jumping and flying over obstacles.  Tag!  You’re it!

My ears are filled with these wonderful sounds of childhood.  The laughter…the cries.  My eyes drink in the beauty of the joy.  The happiness.  It all fills me up.
