There has been a lot of talk lately about stopping or reducing the funding for PBS. I say DON’T!
I sat here in my living room and watched Arthur with my 5 and 7 year old boys. Today’s episode was about how three of the main characters (the girls) decide that they want movies with strong female leads. They discover that they can make one all by themselves! The episode teaches about story boards and things like that as it encourages girls to write and to use their ideas to change the world.
So I’m writing this post to ask…no beg, all of you to reach out to your congressional leaders and insist that they fund PBS.
If you still aren’t sure, check out the website and watch a little of the programing. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll see.
