My five year old is home sick today and I rented Rise of the Guardians to watch with him. We saw it at the theater this fall so I knew he loved it. I’m sitting here though and watching it and I start thinking. The movie is really about our biggest fear. Never being seen by others. We all think we are afraid of lots of different things but it really just boils down to being seen for who we really are.
I really love the end where Jack figures out that the only thing that can destroy fear is fun and faith. We have to fill our lives with joy and happiness and faith or we’ll be destroyed by our fears.
