Free (or nearly so) Friday

Last night my oldest son and I went to play tennis, for free.  That’s right, it was free.  Henderson, KY, has two wonderful tennis complexes.  One is owned by the city and is down by the river front.  The other is over by the soccer practice fields by the Henderson County high school.  They are both fantastic facilities and free to the community.  Check them out.

If tennis isn’t your sport, there are soccer fields and baseball/softball fields.  Most communities have sports facilities that are open to the public during daylight hours.  You can buy gently used equipment at yard sales, thrift stores and second hand stores.
